Laminar Air Flow Horizontal

Horizontal Laminar Air Flow (LAF) creates a particle-free, sterile work zone by pulling air through a HEPA filter at the back of a cabinet and directing it in a smooth, parallel stream horizontally toward the user, protecting the sample/product, not the operator. It’s used for contamination-sensitive tasks in labs (microbiology, electronics assembly) where a clean, unidirectional airflow sweeps contaminants away from the work surface.
